Founders
Darris Ritenour
Darris has been in the pool industry for almost 20 years and is recognized by suppliers, builders, and manufacturers throughout the country. He is a certified pool operator and a certified pool inspector from the APSP and National Swimming Pool Foundation.
Tammy Ritenour
Tammy Ritenour has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry and is also a certified pool operator from the APSP and the national swimming pool foundation. As a banker, she learned the importance of customer service.
Our History
In 2008, Darris and Tammy established Uncle D’s Pools and Spas first location in downtown Luray, VA, Uncle D’s Pools and Spas to help hundreds of families and tourism accommodation operators. With first-class customer service, the finest pool and spa products, and competitive prices, we have become one of the biggest swimming pool and spa sales and service dealers in the area.
In January of 2012, we relocated our Luray, VA store to 13 East Luray Shopping Center to offer convenient access and parking for our customers.
